Feedback and comments

Keep client notes attached to the work, separate internal decisions from client-visible replies, and close every revision round cleanly.

Collect structured client feedback on deliverables while keeping internal agency notes private. LynxRise makes the conversation part of the project, not another tab to lose.

01

Leave feedback from the portal

Clients open a project, file, or page in the portal and click Leave feedback. Their comments become a thread your agency can follow from the project activity feed.

  • Clients comment on projects, files, or pages they can access
  • New threads appear in project activity and portal open counts
  • Every note keeps its original deliverable context
02

Agency replies

Open the project workspace Updates or activity feed to see new client threads. Reply from the composer, then choose whether your response is client-visible.

Internal vs client-visible notes

Visibility is the line between polished client communication and honest internal coordination. Set it before posting, not after.

Internal notes stay privateComments marked Internal are never shown to client portal users, even on the same thread. Clients cannot reply to internal-only threads.

Contextual comments

Feedback can attach to projects, tasks, portal pages, files, and invoices. The discussion stays next to the deliverable instead of disappearing into email.

  • Leave feedback from the page builder, file preview, or task detail
  • Clients see threads only for content they can access
  • Invoice public pages support questions tied to billing context

Resolve threads

Mark feedback resolved when a revision round is complete. Open counts on the portal home decrease as threads close, so clients see a clean list of what still needs attention.

  • Resolve a thread when the revision is complete
  • Reopen it if the client sends a follow-up note
  • Keep a clear open count for the next action
Good habitResolve threads promptly. A clean portal makes the next client action obvious.
